Hello! I’m Emma, a Doctor of Acupuncture and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I am deeply inspired by the magic and beauty of this ancient medicine, and I bring these principles into every treatment I provide.
My journey in healthcare began with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Honours) from Memorial University of Newfoundland, sparked by a lifelong curiosity about the intricacies of the human body. After experiencing the healing effects of acupuncture firsthand, I became fascinated with TCM and pursued specialized training at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2016. Following registration with the CTCMA in BC, I was fortunate to complete a year-long apprenticeship with Dr. Reuven Freesman.
In the past 8 years, my practice has evolved as my training has led to a focus on all areas of women’s health. In an area where I feel there is lack of support, I am honoured to offer treatment for conditions such as PMS/PMDD, fertility, PCOS, hormonal imbalances, peri/menopausal issues, painful/irregular menstruation and pre/post natal care. I have completed comprehensive training in fertility acupuncture under the guidance of Jane Lyttleton, as well as specialized training in pregnancy, labor, and postpartum acupuncture with Dr. Debra Betts. I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure that my clients receive the highest standard of care.
Furthermore, I’ve pursued specialized training in Mei Zen cosmetic acupuncture with Dr. Martha Lucas, allowing me to offer a natural, holistic approach to skin rejuvenation and facial health.
I also have a clinical focus in mental health, treating stress, anxiety, and depression, with additional training in trauma and PTSD specifically. Using various modalities, including acupuncture, fire cupping, auricular therapy, gua sha, nutritional therapy, and lifestyle advice based on TCM theory, I have found profound healing and wonderful results in treating these focuses.
As an advocate for holistic wellness, I encourage my patients to embrace a balanced lifestyle that encompasses physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I create personalized treatment plans, addressing the root cause of imbalance rather than only treating symptoms for lasting health improvements.

This 2-part treatment starts with back acupuncture points to remove energy blocks to prepare the body for more profound healing. Followed by body and facial acupuncture points. Both parts are combined to enhance both internal balance and external appearance. This treatment does not include additional modalities such as gua sha, facial cupping or facial massage.

60-75 minutes. Prepare your body for labour by promoting relaxation, easing discomfort and encouraging optimal cervical ripening. We recommend 1 treatment per week starting at 34 weeks of pregnancy. For labour inducing acupuncture, book 2-3 appointments spaced 1-2 days apart. Late cancellation fees do not apply to labour inducing acupuncture visits.

This premium protocol includes customized facial and body acupuncture, multi-stage layering of medical-grade Korean skincare, Gua Sha massage, and LED Light therapy, layered application of specialized Korean skin care products and hydro jelly mask. Unlike standard applications, this treatment features a prescriptive selection of three specialized Hydro Jelly masks tailored to your specific goals. The extended session allows for a clinical infusion process, using the mask as a barrier seal to drive high-concentration products deep into the dermis for long-lasting results.

This event features medical-grade Korean skincare products from Volayon and Belinic in collaboration with Acupuncture Collective and Heal Skin Lab. 50 minutes. This visit is for new or existing patients undergoing embryo transfer or IUI within 48 hours of the appointment date. Studies show acupuncture up to 48 hours before and after these procedures increase odds of successful implantation. Please email us so we can accommodate a pre/post acupuncture session, even if the timing of your procedure is not yet confirmed. We understand the last-minute nature of this process and our team is here to offer flexible, last-minute scheduling for you.
