Growing up in Ottawa, Emma’s life revolved around a busy, competitive soccer schedule until she suffered two separate ACL injuries. No stranger to a daunting rehabilitation process, she was extremely fortunate to work with a talented physiotherapist. They inspired her throughout her journey, giving her ownership and responsibility for her own care. With such an exemplary model, Emma now hopes to ‘pay it forward’ by providing her clients with a similarly positive and empowering experience.

Emma has done certifications in acupuncture, dry needling, athletic taping, K-taping and is also a certified concussion physiotherapist. She is the current head trainer for the U18 67s AA hockey team and has travelled across Europe with the Skate Canada junior and senior figure skating teams as their team physiotherapist. She is currently in the process of completing her sport physiotherapy certification.

Emma’s treatment style is a combination approach of manual therapy and tailored, functional exercises that relate to the goals at hand. Emma believes in breaking down troublesome or painful activities into smaller components in order to train the system as a whole and work to achieve a functional movement pattern. She believes in encouraging her clients to be their best selves and incorporates a variety of tools to support their individual needs. Emma’s personal motto is “leave people better than you found them” and she looks forward to working with you to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be!
