Emma Peters
Emma is a trauma-focused therapist with extensive clinical experience supporting public safety personnel in addressing mental health concerns. She uses a function-centered approach, integrating evidence-based modalities including prolonged exposure therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and behavioural activation.
Emma’s practice is grounded in the belief that connection and engagement are essential to mental well-being. She prioritizes the therapeutic relationship, bringing respect, openness, humour, and compassion to her work to help clients move toward their goals.
Emma is a registered service provider with the Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB) and Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC).
