This is for first time patients that have undergone a total hip replacement or total knee replacement surgery. Your assessment date MUST be within 82 days of your surgery date as per AHS protocol. During this 30 min assessment, you will be seeing a physiotherapy to go through education, exercises, and what to expect for the remainder of your rehab program.

For motor vehicle accident patients: the Diagnostic Treatment Protocol Regulation (DTPR) coverage applies within the first 90 days of your accident and you choose to see the pelvic floor physiotherapist as your primary health care practitioner for any injuries incurred during the accident. Please make sure that a claim has been opened with your insurance company prior to booking an assessment.

Please make sure that a claim has been opened with your insurance company and you have received approval from your adjuster prior to booking an assessment.
