Erik Sroka - Certified Bowen Practitioner
Erik is a Certified Bowen Practitioner, in practice since 2009. He is licensed by Bowen Therapy Academy of Australia and is a member of the Canadian Bowenwork/Bowtech Group representing internationally recognized Bowtech. With over 20 years of experience in somatic therapeutic methods and excellent assessment skills, Erik uses Bowen Technique - a dynamic system of muscle and connective tissue therapy - to address pain and wide range of health problems. The therapy itself is famous for its effectiveness in dealing with structural and systemic issues, as well as its power to rejuvenate physically and to restore mental wellbeing.
Erik treats individuals of all ages and in all degrees of health - children, adults, elderly as well as high performing athletes. He is a seasoned practitioner who finds himself very fortunate having learned the art from the handful of therapists who practiced directly with Tom Bowen of Australia.
Erik has worked in clinical, private and organizational settings in Canada and abroad. He continues educating himself and exploring various ways of applying Bowen Technique in different areas of wellness.
Outside of work his interests are training in mindfulness, Tai Chi, arts and natural world.
