I grew up in Saskatoon, SK and moved to rural Saskatchewan in 2013. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Honours in Physiology at the University of Saskatchewan in 2004 and then went on to complete my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in 2006.
I am a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist who has practiced in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Ontario in a variety of clinical areas over the past 17 years. I offer treatment in musculoskeletal and neurological conditions for all ages such as hip, knee, foot and ankle pain, shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand pain, neck and back pain, sports injuries, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, return to work, vestibular rehabilitation, balance and dizziness. I have a special interest in Pediatrics and over 10 years of training and experience related to physical and developmental disabilities in infant, toddlers, and adolescents. My goal when working with youth is about making Physiotherapy fun. I am also passionate about offering services in Prehab, a term that relates to preventing injury before it happens, correcting and restoring biomechanics, optimizing movement and performance.
I am a Registered Physical Therapist with the Saskatchewan College of Physical Therapy and a member of the Saskatchewan Physiotherapy Association (SPA) and Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA). I am also part of the Private Practice and Pediatric divisions within CPA. I am trained in Standard First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, Infant, Child and Adult CPR.
