Erin graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1997 and from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2000. Shortly after graduating from Western, she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to work as a physiotherapist in an out-patient orthopedic clinic. She returned home to Ottawa in 2003 and has been working in out-patient physiotherapy in Ottawa ever since.
She has completed many continuing education courses, including level 1 and 2 manual therapy, acupuncture with AFCI, Mackenzie A and B for neck and low back pain, concussion and vestibular training and many courses focusing on pain science. Erin has done training in Cancer Rehab and Lymphedema from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies and she is also a Pain Truth Certified Health Care Provider.
Erin enjoys treating patients of all ages and activity levels. She loves helping patients through the acute stages of an injury or surgery but also finds helping people who have had persistent or chronic pain very rewarding. She excels at helping people make small changes that allow them to progress towards their goals. Your goals for your physio journey become her goals and she will work with you using hands on therapy techniques and graduated movement to help guide you back to your desired level of activity.
In her spare time, Erin enjoys jogging, yoga, lifting weights and curling.

Erin aime traiter des patients de tous âges et de tous niveaux d’activité. This is for a first visit for anyone who is having issues with vertigo , nausea related to movement , BPPV, ( benign paroxysmal positional vertigo , crystal in inner ear) falls due to concussions, head trauma or aging issues. We will do a full assessment to see if the issue is coming from your inner ear, cervical spine , valgus nerve or due to other components. The treatment might consists of visual rehabilitation , progressive balance and adaptation exercises, cranio-sacral therapy and education . Can be used for concussion as well.

Please book a 60-minute appointment for your initial physiotherapy assessment, as the therapist requires a full hour to complete a comprehensive and thorough evaluation and develop an appropriate treatment plan. If a 60-minute time slot is not available and you require immediate care, you may book a 45-minute assessment.
