Eva developed a passion for fitness and rehabilitation from an early age through her years in competitive sport. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic and Exercise Therapy in Victoria, B.C., where she gained valuable experience working as a travel Athletic Therapist with the Canadian Women’s Field Hockey Team and as a student therapist with the BC Lions Football Club. During this time, she also worked as a group fitness instructor with Orangetheory and F45 studios, further strengthening her understanding of movement and performance.
Eva earned her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2018, where she also captained the varsity women’s rugby team. Since graduating, she has practiced in private clinics across Calgary, Dublin, and Okotoks, gaining extensive experience in treating a wide range of injuries and patient populations.
She has completed post-graduate training in manual therapy, Pilates, running injury assessment, and functional dry needling. Eva takes a holistic and patient-centered approach to care, working closely with each individual to develop customized treatment plans that address their goals and promote long-term recovery.

This testing is performed by a physiotherapist and is designed for high functioning and athletic patients to monitor their progress with their rehabilitation and determine readiness for return to sport. This testing may be recommended by your surgeon at specific times post-operative. This testing is currently available for shoulder instability (anterior/posterior dislocations and surgeries), rotator cuff repair surgery, pectoralis tendon surgery and ACL reconstruction (pre-operative and post-operative). This assessment and testing sessions involves a review of your injury/surgery, structured warm up, strength and functional testing using VALD isometric and force plate technology and a review of your test results. A copy of your results is provided to you, which you can share with your physiotherapist, coach, trainer, surgeon or other members of your care team. It is a high energy, maximum effort assessment. Please reach out to Dana at dana.jacobs@accessortho.ca for more information, or if you want to know if this testing is right for you.
