From the time he was young, Evan was interested in helping others. As he grew, he was known as a ‘gentle giant’ for his leadership skills, his encouraging outlook and for assisting his father in making and fixing things around the house.
In 2010, after working at the Toronto Stock Exchange for 7 years, he changed career paths. Evan wanted a more direct, hands on method to connect with people and help them move through life in a vibrant, healthy way.
Today, Evan has 10 years of experience as an RMT and works with a range of diverse clients on musculo-skeletal pain, MVA injuries, sports injuries, chronic pain and stress relief. His application of myo-facial release, trigger point release and deep tissue massage promote well being and deep relaxation.
His collaborative approach, positive encouragement and natural empathy skills create a safe space for patients to be their authentic selves. Evan enjoys providing client-centred care that meets each person wherever they are on their journey.
In addition to massage and spending time with his family, Evan enjoys exercise, magic tricks and woodworking. He can often be found hiking one of the many trails in the Cowichan Valley.
