Fatima has long been drawn to the power of natural healing. Born and raised in Tehran, she grew up
surrounded by traditional remedies and herbal medicine, which sparked a lifelong interest in
holistic care.
After moving to Canada, Fatima completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of
British Columbia. A personal health challenge during this time led her to discover Traditional
Chinese Medicine, where acupuncture and lifestyle-based care supported her own full recovery and
profoundly shaped her path forward.
Fatima is now a Registered Acupuncturist and Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a strong
clinical focus on psycho-emotional disorders, stress-related conditions, and mind-body health. She
completed a two-year postgraduate fellowship with Dr. Yvonne Farrell, specializing in the
treatment of psycho-emotional and mental-emotional disorders through acupuncture. This
advanced training allows her to work deeply and compassionately with conditions such as
anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional imbalance, and stress-related physical symptoms.
Fatima also has advanced training in Balance Method acupuncture for pain management, as well as
women’s health, fertility, and pregnancy support.
Treatments may include acupuncture,
cupping, ear seeds, electrostimulation, and nutritional guidance, always tailored to support the
whole person—body, mind, and emotions.
She is honoured to serve on the Mayor’s Advisory Roundtable for the City of Port Coquitlam,
contributing to community wellness initiatives.
Outside the clinic, Fatima enjoys cooking nourishing
meals, staying active, and spending time with her family.
Her goal is to help you feel calm, supported, and empowered as you restore balance and move
toward optimal health.
