An Acupuncture Initial Assessment is a comprehensive evaluation performed by a qualified acupuncturist to understand the patient's health history, identify their primary concerns, and develop a personalized treatment plan. The goal of the assessment is to assess the physical, emotional, and energetic imbalances that acupuncture aims to address, and to determine the most appropriate course of treatment. Treatment is included in the initial visit. The assessment process is holistic, and the acupuncturist will consider not just the presenting symptoms but also the individual’s lifestyle, diet, stress levels, emotional well-being, and overall energy flow (Qi). The treatment plan will be based on this thorough understanding.
