Fiona (she/her) graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She then pursued her passion for physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland graduating with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy. Throughout her masters Fiona gained experience in a variety of physiotherapy settings such as musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, and neurological rehabilitation. She follows an evidence-based approach to practice and is committed to providing goal-oriented care to help people stay healthy and happy doing what they love.
Outside of work Fiona enjoys keeping active and spending time outdoors. She loves running and has a particular interest in treating the runner population. You may also find her skiing in Wentworth after a snowstorm or hiking around the trails of Nova Scotia.

Welcome! Your first visit will consist of an assessment including a conversation of what brought you into the clinic, whether it's for wellness or pain. An appropriate care plan will then be discussed with you on how to best get you to your optimal health.

Follow up visit
This physio appointment includes shockwave Therapy. Shockwave is an effective treatment for increasing blow flow to the area and and breaking up scar-tissue for those stubborn conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, rotator cuff tendonitis and many more. Shockwave therapy is typically administered 3-6 times 5-10 days apart. Treatment times range between 10 minutes and 30 minutes
Follow up visit: One on One Treatment with your physio! A physio treatment may involve manual, hands on work, or exercise prescription. You may want to bring a pair of comfy pants or shorts.
