This is a follow up treatment only. For returning physiotherapy patients who have not been seen in over 3 months but less than 6 months, we ask that you schedule a minimum 45-minute follow-up appointment. If it has been more than 6 months since your last visit, a new assessment is required. This allows your therapist the time needed to re-evaluate your current condition, address any changes that may have occurred, and create an updated treatment plan tailored specifically to you.
Our concussion assessment is a thorough, evidence-based evaluation designed to identify the effects of a head injury and guide a safe recovery. During this 45-minute session, we assess symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, balance issues, vision changes, and concentration difficulties. Using standardized concussion screening tools and physical testing, we evaluate your neurological, vestibular, and musculoskeletal systems. Research supports early physiotherapy intervention to improve recovery outcomes and reduce post-concussion symptoms. Based on your findings, we create a personalized treatment plan focusing on symptom management, gradual return to work, school, or sports, and overall brain and body rehabilitation for long-term recovery
