Garrick graduated from WCCMT in 1996 and has multi-faceted experience in the field of massage therapy. He has taught and designed courses in massage, chair massage, spa therapy, anatomy and physiology. He was also clinic manager and spa coordinator for WCCMT New Westminster campus. In addition, he has taught at various spa programs in the city. Garrick's post-graduate studies and areas of interest include sports massage and rehabilitation, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy and chair massage.
