Gerald earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, where he developed a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, human movement, injury rehabilitation, and prevention. His experience with sports teams, along with his background in basketball and powerlifting, gives him valuable insight into athletic performance, recovery, mobility, and injury management.
He later completed his massage therapy training at West Coast College of Massage Therapy, where he developed his clinical skills through a variety of hands-on treatment settings. During his time at WCCMT, Gerald worked with a diverse range of clients, including Douglas College varsity athletes and individuals living with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, and Frozen Shoulder. These experiences helped shape his adaptable, compassionate, and client-centred approach to care.
Gerald’s treatments may include Swedish massage, deep tissue work, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and therapeutic exercise recommendations to help reduce pain, improve mobility, support recovery, and promote well-being.
Outside of work, Gerald enjoys staying active through basketball, powerlifting, and hiking.
He is fluent in English, Tagalog, and is currently learning Spanish.
