Gigi completed the Advanced Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) program at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Her drive and passion for alternative medicine, health, fitness and nutrition are in her DNA. She grew up in a very disciplined, yet holistic, household where food was homemade and ailments were often treated with home remedies vs Western medicine.
As a TCM practitioner, Gigi has a broad and holistic approach to health and wellness. She can treat a wide range of diseases and conditions, including but not limited to digestive disorders, respiratory illnesses, cardiovascular diseases, gynecological disorders, musculoskeletal problems, mental health concerns, and skin conditions. She uses a combination of acupuncture, herbal medicine, dietary therapy, and other therapies to address the underlying imbalances that contribute to these conditions.
Her life experience as an esthetician, personal trainer, nutritional consultant and lifestyle coach were the stepping stones to build a perspective on health care that looks at it from both the outside in, and inside out. Traditional Chinese Medicine was a natural “medical training” fit to treat individuals holistically to remedy the root causes of disease and discomfort.
One of Gigi's goals is to help individuals understand the profound impact Traditional Chinese Medicine can have, not just as a response to current health concerns, but as a preventative approach to health care that contributes to longer, healthier and more active lifestyles.
