Gillian is a registered physiotherapist and registered clinical counsellor.
She has specialised as a physiotherapist in persistent (chronic) pain since 1998, integrating yoga and mindfulness (MBSR), dry needling, functional exercise, neuroscience and evidence-based practice. She works with adults and kids in-person and remotely, receiving pain referrals from physicians across Vancouver Island.
Gillian completed her masters degree in clinical counselling in 2025 and is registered with the BCACC. Her approach is warm and person-centred and includes somatic, mindfulness, compassion and CBT practices. She specialises in counselling for chronic pain, illness, stress management, anxiety and depression.
She provides mentorship to physiotherapists and group teaching for clinicians on pain management.

Follow-up session for extended time and appropriate for longer standing or multi-region conditions
Physiotherapy follow-up for issues that have been treated within the last 12 months. If it is longer than 12 months since your last visit or a new concern please book an initial session for 60 minutes.
Physiotherapy initial assessment and treatment including testing and explanation of your concern and manual therapy and home practice plan.
One hour session of physiotherapy, yoga and/or mindfulness practice. Can involve a combination -whatever is most helpful. Includes a home program that can be progressed in subsequent sessions.
One hour session integrating physiotherapy with yoga and/or mindfulness practices for injury recovery, persistent pain and well being
Telehealth physiotherapy assessment and treatment session
