##**Bio**
Gillian completed the 2300 hour program at the International Academy of Massage in Ottawa, where she
won the Executive Director’s Award for Academic Excellence in 2016. She also has a BA in Psychology
from Laurentian University. A resident of Canmore since 2017, her massage experience at the Willow
Stream Spa allows her to take a holistic view of the needs of each client, and to develop an approach to
deep therapeutic massage while at the same time encouraging deep relaxation. She specializes in
orthopedic massage for joint dysfunction, particularly of the hips and shoulders.
Gillian is experienced with massage for all ages, including seniors. She is especially delighted to
introduce massage therapy to first-timers.

Hands‑on scar tissue therapy for scars (C‑section, post‑orthopedic, surgical, car‑accident injuries, etc.). This is with a therapist with extended scar‑treatment training using focused soft‑tissue techniques to improve mobility, reduce adhesions and support healing.
