Grace joins us after graduating from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to this, she received a BSc in Biomedical Science from the University of Ottawa, where she conducted recently published research in the field of pelvic floor physiotherapy.
Grace’s passion for the field of rehabilitation stems from personal experiences with physiotherapy as a young athlete and various volunteer and work opportunities. In addition to orthopedic clinics, she has experience working in hospital settings such as medical and surgical acute care units and in-patient rehabilitation.
Grace believes that educating and empowering patients to be an active participant in their rehabilitation journey is the key to a successful recovery. She values providing an evidence-based approach that is tailored to meet each individuals unique needs. Grace works collaboratively as part of the Alliance Physiotherapy team to re-establish functional strength, range of motion and help individuals return to full and pain free living.
Outside of work Grace enjoys hiking, cooking, playing volleyball and spending time with family and friends.
