Graciela graduated from the 3000 hour Massage Therapy program at West Coast College of Massage therapy in 2013. She has experience working with different types of conditions such as pregnancy (prenatal and postpartum), whiplash, sports injuries, neurological, and orthopaedic conditions. She believes that massage therapy can assist in pain management and rehabilitation.
Her massage approach focuses on the different needs of people. Whether it is from musculoskeletal or psychological stress, Graciela strongly believes that massage therapy can provide relief and promote a better quality of life.
During her studies at WCCMT, Graciela gained exposure to different settings such as Vancouver General Hospital (Burns, Plastic and Trauma unit), BC Women's Hospital, Friends for Life Society, South Granville's Senior Centre, the BMO marathon, and WCCMT's student clinic. From these experiences, it provided her a better understanding of the benefits of massage therapy.

Shiatsu is a healing art originating in Japan. Shiatsu is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, rooted in the concept of Ki (vital energy), and uses the same meridian system (energy lines) as in acupuncture. Throughout this massage, the patient lies clothed on a padded floor mat. The therapist uses thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows, forearms, knees, and/or feet to apply pressure to specific meridians and acupoints to balance the flow of Ki. Meridian stretches and joint mobilizations are also included. Shiatsu promotes the body’s natural ability to balance and heal itself; it can be helpful in preventing and treating acute/chronic musculoskeletal pain and internal medicine conditions.
Integrative Fascial work is intentional work that addresses all levels of the body, not just the musculoskeletal system. Integrative Fascial work may include any of the following: assessment and adjustments to bony structures, specific ligamentous release, work to fascial structures, visceral work, or traditional massage. A 60 minute appointment with a RMT to include: intake, assessment, treatment, re-assessment and home care.
