Greg is a physiotherapist with **extensive sport background** and a passion for helping people get the most out of their lives. Once completing a thorough physical assessment, Greg uses **customized therapeutic exercises, dry needling/IMS, manual therapy, and movement retraining** to help patients reach their specific goals quickly.
###About
Greg owns 2 sport and orthopaedic clinics in Horseshoe Bay and on Bowen Island. Prior to opening his practices he worked in private practice on the Northern Sunshine Coast. He was also the **team physiotherapist for the Powell River Villa soccer team** and helped the team towards a league promotion.
###Why Greg became a physiotherapist
After years of high performance athletics and numerous injuries, Greg knew that his calling was to **help others reach their true potential**. With a passion for all that is recovery, exercise, and performance he prides himself on empowering his patients to *work towards their goals and remain injury free.*
###Athletics
Greg played for the Whitecaps Residency program before moving to Germany to play **professional soccer**. After his stint in Germany he returned to Canada to play right wing for the **University of British Columbia Thunderbirds**. After competing for the soccer team and captaining the Thunderbirds to their second national championship title in 2 years he shifted his focus to UBC rugby.

Subsequent Physiotherapy Session (30 minutes) This follow-up appointment is focused on progressing your treatment plan. Your physiotherapist will review your progress, adjust exercises, provide manual therapy treatment as needed, and address any new concerns. Sessions are tailored to support recovery, improve function, and optimize performance.

Initial Physiotherapy Assessment & Treatment (45 minutes) Your first session includes a detailed history, movement and injury assessment, and initial treatment. You will receive a clear explanation of findings and an individualized plan of care to support recovery, performance, and long-term health. This session is suitable for acute injuries, persistent pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, or performance-related concerns.
Please note as of MAY 15, 2026, the new price is $190. Thank you for understanding. This a 60 min Clinical Running Assessment where your running biomechanics, stride and cadence are assessed. Feedback is provided with video analysis. This session includes a movement screen and education on movement patterns and training load progressions. This session can be performed outside, as well as use of the treadmill.
**Please note this visit will increase from $180 to $190 on May 15** This is a gym based appointment that can be tailored for the specific needs of the patient. - Early injury rehab - Preparation for return to sport - Movement analysis and exercise + mobillity recommendations - Supervised 1x1 training ** This is designed to be hands off with no passive modalities used **
An active rehab approach taking place in the gym~ focusing on addressing the individual needs of the client in with a focus on stability and/or mobility issues. Ideal for early injury rehab as well as return to sport/activity rehab. Includes movement analysis, stability and mobility programming. Minimal passive approaches to treatment are used.
