A lactation visit will include the following: History: Health history of both mother and baby, including pregnancy and birth and opportunity for you to tell your story. Weight: Baby’s naked weight + Pre- and post-feeding weights Assessment: Mother’s breasts and nipples, infant’s oral anatomy, latch, positions and more Care plan and next steps: Care plan created together that you are comfortable with + that aligns with your goals. Follow-up visit may be recommended. Some support available through text following our visit.
