Gurj graduated from Douglas College to earn his Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching with Specialisation in Kinesiology. During that time, he was a student athletic trainer for the Mens' Basketball team.
Gurj has years experience, providing Active Rehabilitation while working as a Practicing Kinesiologist at various private clinics. Recently, he graduated from Bond University in Australia earning his Doctor of Physiotherapy.
Gurj enjoys travelling, going to the gym, watching the latest movies and attending Vancouver Canucks games. He has also played recreational basketball and ball hockey.
Gurj has a passion for sports and believes sports skills are life skills. Gurj believes in optimizing patient care by focusing on patients capabilities rather than disabilities.
