Heather Andrew is the founder of Aspen Wellness Centre. Heather is a Registered Clinical Social Worker and has been a Mental Health Therapist since 2017, supporting clients with a variety of needs including complex trauma, ADHD, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, family conflict and more. Heather is passionate about providing trauma informed care to her clients and is a fierce advocate for mental health awareness.

Heather is a Registered Social Worker in Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia.

Heather is honoured to be an ally of the BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIAP and Indigenous communities.

Heather's pronouns are she/her/hers.

Heather offers mental health therapy sessions in-person and via telehealth.

###Experience

For many years, Heather dreamed of opening a wellness centre that provided holistic services to heal the body, mind and spirit. Over the last six years, Heather has built a team of trauma informed, heart centred mental health therapists that specialize in treating grief & trauma (PTSD), and other mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, burnout, insomnia, relationship issues and more. It is an honour and privilege to serve our community and help people on their healing journey.

Before entering into private practice, Heather spent three years working as a school based therapist in an inner-city school, and as a therapist serving clients with Children's Services involvement. She is very experienced in supporting diverse clients with complex needs by striving to build safe, trusting relationships with individuals and families. Heather is experienced in providing individual therapy for children (10 years+), youth and adults. Heather is proud to be a Preferred Provider for the Edmonton Police Service and their families. She is also a skilled group facilitator and presenter.
