Heather graduated with her physiotherapy degree from McMaster University. She also holds degrees, from UBC, in Physical Education and a Masters Degree in Science where she specifically studied knee osteoarthritis and the effectiveness of bracing. Heather has an extensive sport background both as a participant and as an athletic trainer/physiotherapist working with provincial and national athletes/teams. She has worked with field hockey, rugby, soccer, and ice hockey. She was a physiotherapist at the 2010 Para Olympics in Vancouver. She is currently part of Tennis Canada’s Sport Science program working with their young athletes.She uses manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, exercise therapy, postural education, taping and modalities to help her clients become pain free. She treats patients with all types of muscle and joint injuries and has a specific niche treating shoulder injuries.

This visit is if you are new to the clinic or have a new injury in which time is needed to do a new assessment

For those patients who are MSP eligible (unable to pay MSP premiums) that would like a 30 minute session. A portion of this visit will be billed to MSP while the patient pays a $40.00 user fee

While assessing an injury, in person, is optimal, because of COVID-19 social distancing restrictions, online video physiotherapy sessions can be booked to allow a physio to visually assess, offer advice, and give a home exercise program where applicable.
This treatment is a quick 10 minute follow-up appointment for ultrasound treatment or taping as requested by your therapist
