Heather Gilbert, RMT, is a compassionate registered massage therapist with a deep love for
family, nature, and the joy of connecting with her clients. She finds solace in the woods,
practicing “forest bathing”, and believes in the power of collaborative wellness. She’s dedicated
to helping people, building community, and fostering family massage therapist relationships.
Heather has a profound interest in the often-neglected stages of peri, post, and menopausal
phases and wants to ensure women feel seen and supported during these transformative
periods. Whether you are a middle-aged woman approaching menopause, an athlete seeking to
optimize performance and recovery, or families aiming for a balanced and healthy lifestyle, a
treatment with Heather is not just a routine massage, she strives to provide a targeted approach
to wellness, addressing specific pain points and providing relief where it’s most needed.

Massage Therapy involves the assessment and treatment of the soft tissues and joints of the body. This may prevent, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function and/or help to relieve pain/discomfort. The 2-hour treatment is ideal for clients with multiple areas of complain. This allows Heather to work the superficial muscles, fascia, joints, and deeper muscles involved in each concern. This is a therapeutic massage treatment - do NOT book if you are seeking relaxation
Sometimes, longstanding issues can be improved but may not fully resolve. In these cases, a monthly visit with two treatments in a week can help keep old patterns from recurring. The temporomandibular joint AKA TMJ (your jaw) is often a source of pain in many head, neck, face, and vocal conditions. Accumulation of compression forces in the joints and asymmetrical muscle tightness can lead to clicking, pain, and possible joint damage.
