SaveMs. Heila Siebrits is a pre-doctoral intern in Clinical Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Jean Dennis. Having lived across multiple countries and cultures, she brings a strong multicultural perspective and a deep appreciation for the diverse ways people live, heal, and grow. Her lived experience across both collectivist and individualist societies informs her commitment to culturally responsive, ethical, and person-centered care.

Her clinical work focuses on how early adversity shapes emotional regulation, core beliefs, relationships, and coping across the lifespan. She works from a strengths-based, trauma-informed perspective that recognizes both the lasting effects of early experiences and each person’s capacity for resilience, growth, and meaningful change.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from CBT, ACT, SFBT, as well as person-centered and relational frameworks. She views therapy as a collaborative process and believes clients are the experts of their own lives, offering care that is evidence-based, goal-oriented, and grounded in empathy and respect.
In addition to psychotherapy, Ms. Siebrits is trained in psychological assessment and testing, including clinical interviewing, behavioral observation, and the administration and interpretation of standardized measures of cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning. She values assessment as a collaborative process that supports diagnosis, treatment planning, and a deeper understanding of each client.
Ms. Siebrits is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space and she is fluent in English and Afrikaans.
