##Hi, I’m Hélène.
I’m a registered acupuncturist with a background in holistic nutrition and community health. Before pursuing acupuncture, I spent over a decade working in the nonprofit sector, supporting initiatives in food security and cultural revitalization. My experience in community-based work continues to shape my approach to care, emphasizing accessibility, education, and the interconnectedness of health and social well-being.
I graduated from Pacific Rim College in 2024, after completing an extensive 2190-hours of training, including over 460 hours of clinical practicum. **My practice integrates acupuncture, bodywork (qi gong therapy and acupressure), cupping, moxibustion, and food therapy**. My approach is informed by advanced training in pain science, prenatal care, and ongoing studies in classical Chinese medicine. I am committed to continually deepening my understanding of both Traditional East Asian Medicine and contemporary Western practices to provide the highest standard of care.
**I have a special interest in mental-emotional, digestive, urogenital, and reproductive health**, providing support through the changes and phases that unfold across different life stages. Whether you're managing chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, or simply looking to feel more at home in your body, **my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that meets you where you are**.
I look forward to hearing from you.
*"Healing is not about fixing the body. It is about integrating the body into the wholeness of who we are." — Tara Brach*

New to acupuncture? This 30-minute session is designed to help new patients get a feel for the process and explore whether this form of care aligns with their needs. The appointment includes a one-on-one consultation to discuss health goals and receive tailored treatment suggestions. It also offers the option of trying ear seed therapy or a mini-acupuncture treatment — ideal for those curious about needling sensation.
Available to returning clients who are following an established treatment plan. This shorter session is designed to support continuity of care and progress for a particular issue.
For returning clients, this session builds on your treatment plan to address ongoing or new concerns. Treatment may include bodywork, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, or acupuncture.
For all new clients, this session begins with an in-depth assessment of your health history, lifestyle, and primary concerns followed by developing a treatment plan and an initial treatment.
The early weeks after birth are a tender and formative time. Your body is healing from pregnancy, labour, and birth while also learning the rhythms of feeding, sleep, recovery, and caring for a newborn. Postpartum acupuncture care brings treatment to your home during this early window, when tending to yourself should not require dashing to appointments. Price is per session. It is recommended to book 4 sessions within the first 40 days of postpartum.
