Helna Thomas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Kerala University of Health Sciences and is a Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She is certified in Dry Needling/Acupuncture and has completed additional certifications in Soft Tissue Manual Therapy.
Her treatment approach integrates manual therapy, soft tissue techniques, acupuncture, and exercise-based rehabilitation, with a strong emphasis on restoring optimal movement and function. She believes in individualized care, recognizing that every patient is unique, and designs treatment plans tailored to each person’s specific needs and goals.
A key focus of her practice is patient education and long-term outcomes. She is committed to empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools to move better, prevent injury recurrence, and return confidently to the activities they value. Helna also has a special interest in sports physiotherapy, focusing on helping individuals recover from injury, enhance performance, and safely return to sport.
