This class is a 60 minute Therapeutic Yoga class. Survivors can be at any stage of recovery, newly diagnosed, in active treatment or post treatment, and fully recovered. REGISTRATION HR Community Cancer Center 403-652-0131 Brenda teaches a class of Therapeutic movements combined with traditional yoga poses, myofascial release techniques, breath awareness, and meditation to help relieve stress and anxiety that can be experienced in the Cancer recovery process. There are many changes to the body to consider when doing yoga during Cancer recovery and Brenda offers a class that meets each student exactly where they on their journey. Survivors can also bring a support person with them. There is no yoga experience needed to attend this class modifications are offered to make it available to everyone. Brenda offers a class with a trauma sensitive lens and compassion for all.
