Holly was born in Ottawa, Ontario, and raised on the east coast of Vancouver Island where she attended secondary school and college. Throughout secondary school Holly always had an interest in the medical field, as well as in sports and fitness. While in secondary school, she obtained her Certificate in Fitness Theory, volunteered with St. John Ambulance and at the Transitional Care Unit at her local hospital. Following secondary school Holly went on to study another passion of hers, attending the Criminology diploma program at North Island College. Although Holly has a deep interest in the study of criminology and sociology, she still knew she wanted to work in the medical field. Holly received her first RMT treatment at 12 years old, and since then she always had an interest in learning more about the career and how she could help others. In 2016 Holly moved to Burnaby where she attended and graduated from the Registered Massage Therapy program at Vancouver Career College.
Holly practices a variety of techniques catered to each patient’s specific needs, including Swedish techniques, myofascial release, and joint mobilization amongst other modalities. She deeply values the importance of communication and education within a treatment, and is committed to providing a distinctive treatment plan for each patient.
Outside of work Holly enjoys kayaking, camping, and long boarding. She is always eager to learn more, and looks forward to returning to studying both within the field of Registered Massage Therapy, and in the field of Sociology.
