Ian Wiseman, RD
SaveIan Wiseman is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator originally from Newfoundland and Labrador. Ian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Archaeology and Socio-Cultural Anthropology from Memorial University, followed by a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Acadia University. Ian's clinical experience spans both inpatient and outpatient care across diabetes, cardiovascular disease, nephrology, orthopedic surgery, and a wide range of chronic conditions.

Ian's background in anthropology isn't just an interesting detail, it genuinely informs how he practices. Ian is deeply invested in the social determinants of health and in meeting people where they actually are, not where a textbook says they should be. Ian's approach is empathetic, practical, and built for the long-term. No fads, no restrictive thinking, no buzzwords; just honest, evidence-based guidance aimed at helping people build a healthy relationship with food that holds up for the rest of their life.
Ian believes that sustainable change comes from feeling understood and empowered, not lectured. Every session is shaped around the person in front of him; their life, their goals, and what's actually realistic and meaningful to them.
When Ian is not in the clinic, you'll find him staying active, exploring creative projects, obsessing over a good cup of tea or coffee, and singing in a local 60's inspired band.
