Ingrid has over 10 years of experience working as a registered dietitian in retail grocery/healthcare space, private counselling, long-term care facilities, and diabetes education. Ingrid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from McGill University and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Toronto. She is also a certified diabetes educator.
Ingrid is compassionate, empathetic, and is very focused on providing evidence-based personalized recommendations and care as she believes that she is a cheerleader for each and every one of her patients. She has extensive experience working with clients on healthy eating and managing conditions like diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, digestive issues, cancer, weight management, women’s health, and more. Ingrid’s goal is always to provide practical and tangible nutrition tips for individuals to take home and incorporate into their daily lives, ensuring they are realistic and achievable for them and their families.
Ingrid is also an accomplished speaker and shares her nutrition knowledge with the public through different channels. She engages regularly with the media, speaking with Global TV, Breakfast Television, and Fairchild Radio on topics like cultural diets, boosting digestive health, tips for seniors, women’s health, to name a few, and contributes articles to various publications.
During her downtime, Ingrid is a foodie and enjoys exploring new restaurants and food shops in the GTA with friends, especially for brunch. She is an avid swimmer, former figure skater, and was a member of her high school and university rowing teams. Recently, she has taken up archery, adding it to her fitness routine and hobbies.
Ingrid offers one-on-one nutrition consultations, grocery tours, educational classes, and food demonstrations, providing services in English and Cantonese. She is dedicated to promoting health and well-being, empowering individuals to make informed and nutritious choices for a healthier lifestyle.
