Jatan Brar is a chiropractic student currently completing his preceptorship at Prosper Health & Rehab. He is pursuing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States, following a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University.
Jatan's expertise in utilizing his background in kinesiology allows him to understand the why behind pain and dysfunction. He has a strong interest in evidence-informed care and enjoys empowering patients with musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions, and activity-related pain. His clinical training includes spinal and extremity joint manipulation, soft tissue therapies, rehabilitative exercise, and patient education, with an emphasis on helping individuals move more confidently and efficiently in their daily lives.
Outside of his professional life, Jatan enjoys staying active through regular exercise and playing competitive soccer. Growing up in the Lower Mainland, he is a life-time supporter of the Vancouver Canucks. He also enjoys trying new cuisines from diverse cultures and exploring communities and outdoor spaces across British Columbia, reflecting his appreciation for balance, movement, and an active lifestyle.
