Ivory was born and raised in Coquitlam and grew up playing everything, but rugby was the one that stuck — and rugby injuries were how she learned, firsthand, what proper rehab and prevention actually mean. The cleats are hung up for good, but she's still moving: running, cycling, yoga, lifting, and trail walks with her 3 kids and her dog.
She completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at UBC and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2017. Her special interests are women's pelvic health — pregnancy, postpartum, incontinence, and pelvic pain, treated one-on-one in a private room — along with sports injuries and orthopaedics.
Her style is hands-on and individualized: manual therapy, soft-tissue work, dry needling, corrective exercise, and education. Having worked through her own injuries, she treats recovery as something you do together — her job is giving you the tools and the plan to take an active role in your own.

You are fully covered for 25 sessions of Physiotherapy within 12 weeks of your accident date. However, we will need to confirm coverage if your accident was more than 12 weeks ago or you are transferring from another clinic. Please call or email us your claim number and claims specialists name. If we are not provided this information, you will be responsible to pay our private rates and get reimbursed from ICBC.

Golf is a game many love and enjoy. It’s a chance to get out with friends and enjoy a few outdoor hours. Playing it leisurely can appear easy, but 4+ hours can be tough. Some suffer from lower back pain, sore shoulders or other aches that hinder their score and experience. Others may have no pain but wish to blast the ball further than any of their friends and lack the strength or flexibility to do so. And some have no concerns with either but intend to keep playing the game for years to come. During your initial appointment with Colby, you will talk about any current symptoms you may be having, your golf playing/practicing frequency, and what you’re looking to address. Following this, he will complete a physical assessment, evaluating major components of your golf swing. It is recommended that you have some video footage of your golf swing (a smartphone recording will work just fine). Afterwards, you both will discuss his findings and the best path forward.

This option is for clients who wish to speak to a therapist through a video conference to help guide you through an injury. You will be provided a link through the JaneApp to log into.

Treatment may include a detailed history, eye tests, balance tests and will likely include an exercise program to address the issues. Come prepared as your symptoms may be brought on with certain tests and you may need a driver.
