Jacek Kobza

Jacek’s special interests include rehabilitation after hip or knee replacements; management of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, ergonomics as well as injury recovery. His clinical decisions are based on physical assessment, evidence based intervention and the usage of diagnostic ultrasound. Jacek strongly believes in empowering his patients through education and using preventive techniques. To this end, he enjoys working with his clients in a gym setting: teaching them how to exercise safely and how to establish good postural or movement habits. Jacek has traveled both nationally and internationally (US, Scotland and Italy) to speak at conferences such as the American College of Rheumatology and the Canadian Rheumatology Symposium. Recently, Jacek has been advancing his clinical skills in Diagnostic Ultrasound by becoming certified through the Canadian Rhuematology Ultrasound Group at McMaster University.

When he is not working, attending conferences or workshops, Jacek enjoys kayaking or biking in Deep Cove and or playing beach volleyball with his kids.
