Jacinda Grabas
SaveJacinda has a Master of Arts in Psychology and Counselling from Yorkville University and is registered with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. Prior to becoming a counsellor, Jacinda spent many years working with youth and their families in the education sector and gained a unique perspective on mental health and wellness. Jacinda uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Play Therapy to assist children, adults and families in the therapeutic process.

Jacinda believes that a safe, calm and nurturing therapeutic environment is necessary to explore one’s thoughts and emotions when discussing mental health. Working through life’s struggles can be difficult, but discussing these struggles with a non-judgemental third party can provide you with the clarity and guidance needed to enjoy your daily activities and improve your self-confidence.
