Jack graduated from the University of Calgary in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (with distinction), followed by a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2017. Since completing his training, he has practiced in Alberta in both Calgary and Edmonton, primarily within private clinical settings. His clinical focus includes the assessment and management of shoulder and lumbar spine conditions.
Jack adopts a collaborative, evidence-informed approach to patient care. He develops individualized treatment plans incorporating targeted exercise prescription, patient education, and intramuscular stimulation (IMS). He places particular emphasis on aligning treatment strategies with each patient’s specific goals, functional demands, and activity preferences to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
Jack also places strong importance on patient engagement outside of the clinic. He ensures each patient is equipped with a clear, manageable home exercise program and emphasizes that consistent completion of these exercises is essential for achieving meaningful and lasting improvement.
He has pursued extensive postgraduate education, including coursework in intramuscular stimulation and peripheral joint manipulation.
Outside of clinical practice, Jack’s interests include cycling, woodworking, and hiking.

This appointment is for patients who have already purchased a Breg Slingshot 3 Shoulder Sling and are preparing for surgery who would like a demonstration on how to properly apply, remove, and adjust their sling. A clinician will guide you through correct sling usage to ensure comfort and support during recovery. Please note: The appointment is optional and not required for sling purchases. Slings are sold separately.
