Jana holds a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary. She has been practicing as a physio in both the private and public sectors for the last 7 years in the Rossland/Trail area, where she grew up. She not only has a passion for physical rehabilitation post injury but is also a keen advocate for injury prevention and optimizing functional movement patterns to allow clients to perform at their best in both life and sport.
She has experience in acute care, neuro rehab, orthopedics, pediatrics and residential care. This gives her a unique understanding of the resources available in the community and the best combination of client education, manual therapy and exercise prescription to help clients return to their fully functioning selves.
When not in the clinic, you'll find her pursuing outdoor activities, gardening, coaching fitness classes or selling her handmade soap at local farmers' markets
