NEW! Introducing Lakeside's Fall Prevention & Balance Enhancement Physio Program. This first session is the first step towards optimal Balance, Stability & Strength. This assessment is a comprehensive and custom 1 hour session where your therapist will clinically assess your balance and all of the components that contribute to one's balance abilities... from Proprioception to Vestibular, Calf flexibility to foot mobility, Neurological contributions or limitations and more. Balance can be affected by many things so the key is understanding the root of any balance challenges and working specifically on those factors which are affecting you. For those without any balance issues yet but would like to protect themselves for the future, this program is equally perfect for you. The ideal balance program is at minimum 5 sessions (for those without current balance issues), with the average program for those with mild to moderate balance challenges taking 6-12 sessions. For those with more complex health conditions or concerns, longer programs may be more appropriate, but each case is unique. Your Physio will discuss their recommendations with you at the end of your consultation and help you put a plan in place that is both realistic and enjoyable for you. **Note: If a more complex focused Vestibular Assessment is required based on the screening that day, we have a Vestibular Physio on our team who will be happy to assist you. Whether you are interested in the program for yourself or someone you love, we are happy to answer any questions you may have. *Please send queries to info@lakesidehealthandsport.com
