Janessa Meissner
SaveMs. Janessa Meissner is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Ms. Meissner works primarily with teens and young adults, supporting them through challenges such as anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, body image concerns, and stress related to school, work, and relationships, and she practices from a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed lens. She integrates evidence-based approaches tailored to each client, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centered strategies. Her work focuses on helping clients uncover their strengths, build confidence, develop healthier relationships with themselves and others, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. Known for her empathetic and supportive style, Janessa provides a safe, judgment-free space where clients can show up as they are, explore challenges, and develop practical tools to move forward.
