Dr. Dacyshyn graduated in 2005 from Bastyr University, a school she chose to attend due to its strong focus on science-based Naturopathic education. She has been in practice as a Naturopathic doctor in the Edmonton area, growing in her skills and experience as an expert in diagnostic evaluation and natural medicines.
She began her pre-medical studies initially to pursue conventional medicine, but quickly realized that it was Naturopathic medicine that would nurture her desire to empower and educate her patients on the powerful principles of preventative medicine. She feels that is truly an honour to do this work, and is inspired by the changes that her patients make. It is a privilege to serve the moms, the kids, the sisters, the brothers, the friends and co-workers of her patients and never takes any of these new meetings for granted.

**For children 12 and under** A follow-up visit is approximately 30 minutes long and in that time progress made since the initial visit will be examined and future plans will be discussed and formulated.

**For CHILDREN 12 AND UNDER who have never seen Dr. Dacyshyn or it has been more than 2 years since last appointment** A first visit is approximately an hour in length and in that time a very detailed history is taken which includes discussing your reasons for coming into the clinic, your past medical history, and the medical history of important family members. Digestion, hormones, diet, stress and mood as well as other lifestyle factors are considered. An individualized treatment plan is then formulated with all of this information factored in, and recommendations are made in the form of supplementation, lifestyle changes, or suggestions for additional testing.
A follow-up visit is approximately 30 minutes long and in that time progress made since the initial visit will be examined and future plans will be discussed and formulated. Dr.Dacyshyn will call you at the designated time.
