AjouterJanie graduated from the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program at the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in 2018.
Since then, she has gained experience working with a wide variety of patients suffering from stress, chronic pain, sport related injuries, overuse and/or repetitive stress injuries. Patient-focused and highly intuitive, Janie tailors each treatment to the unique needs of her patients, drawing from a broad skill set to create personalized treatments.

She places strong emphasis on supporting the nervous system, believing that lasting change happens when the body feels safe, grounded, and heard. Her treatments are designed to be both effective and restorative, delivered in a space that is open, comforting, and welcoming to all.
Outside the clinic, Janie enjoys disconnecting from technology and exploring the outdoors - hiking, camping and spending time by the water.

This therapeutic yet deeply relaxing treatment is beneficial for individuals experiencing TMJ dysfunction, sinusitis, headaches, and muscle tension in the face, jaw, head, and neck. Using a combination of Swedish and neuromuscular techniques, treatment focuses on key muscles including the SCM, masseter, and temporalis to reduce pain, release muscle tension, improve mobility, and promote overall relaxation. With informed consent, intraoral (buccal) techniques may be incorporated to directly treat the muscles of mastication and enhance results. Hot towels, instrument-assisted techniques, and professional-grade facial oils may be used to support relaxation and therapeutic outcomes. Please note: For safety, this treatment should be booked at least 2 weeks after Botox or dermal filler injections
