Meet Jay, an accomplished physiotherapist with a love for sports and a deep respect for the human body. Jay completed his Bachelor's in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and holds an MSc. in Exercise and Sports Medicine from the esteemed University of Birmingham.
Jay's passion for sports and commitment to excellence led him to work with elite athletes in both India and the UK. He served as lead academy physiotherapist for Aston Villa Football Club women's team, helping to keep the players in top condition. In India, Jay worked with the Mumbai Cricket Association, providing exceptional care to cricketers of all levels.
In addition to his work with athletes, Jay has also served as a lead physiotherapist during the Covid pandemic, providing critical care to patients in need.
Jay understands the mechanisms of injury and recovery first-hand, having played sports like football and cricket himself. This experience, combined with his commitment to staying up to date with the latest research, allows him to provide evidence-informed treatment that is both effective and efficient.
Jay takes an active approach to physiotherapy, focused on movement-based therapy supplemented with hands-on techniques. He creates customized action plans to help patients work towards their goals and improve their overall well-being.
When he's not working, Jay enjoys watching and playing sports, and spending time with his family. With his expertise, dedication, and commitment to providing the highest level of care, Jay is the perfect choice for anyone looking to recover from an injury, manage chronic pain, or improve their overall health.
