An athletic therapy follow up appointment is a subsequent appointment or a visit to an athletic therapist after the initial evaluation.
The Athletic Therapist will do a physical assessment of your injury/problem area. During your initial assessment, your Athletic Therapist will discuss with you what they have found, they will provide treatment (which can be a combination of manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and restore mobility, and specific exercises that you can do at home to accelerate your progress). The Athletic Therapist will come up with a treatment plan for you getting you from injury to rehabilitation to a full return to activities

A 30-minute manual athletic therapy session is designed to either address an existing injury or serve as preventative care to support overall physical health and reduce the risk of future injuries. Each session may include a combination of hands-on techniques such as massage and joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercises, and other targeted treatments tailored to individual needs.
