After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia in 2009, Jeff immersed himself in the practical application of functional movement and corrective exercise methods. With nearly 17 years of experience working with patients and clients, his expertise extends across diverse exercise modalities, and he places particular emphasis on applying the principles of the FMS (Functional Movement Systems) to optimize mobility, strength, and resiliency, while restoring movement competency to minimize risk of injury risk.
Jeff is a firm believer in the philosophy that “movement is medicine”—using thoughtful, science-backed approaches to help patients move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives. In addition to his extensive Kinesiology training, he is a MovNat Level 1 Training Coach and holds other coaching certifications that bolster his skill in guiding clients safely toward their movement and rehabilitation goals.
Beyond his professional credentials, Jeff is also a seasoned endurance athlete. He has completed events such as the 50K North Face Endurance Challenge Trail Ultramarathon, the 100-mile Las Vegas Gran Fondo, and multiple triathlon and obstacle races—evidence of his personal commitment to movement excellence and resilience.
Outside the clinic, Jeff is kept very busy by his two sons; building Lego, coaching baseball, going on fishing trips, and playing with the family dog, Finley.
