Originally from Newfoundland, Jen completed her Masters of Art Therapy at Concordia University in Montreal, and then relocated back to the East Coast, to rural Cape Breton.
Jen loves art, the beach and making connections with friends and family. She is super happy to be a part of the team!
You will find Jen at the Front Desk, to welcome you and say hello and help with any questions that you may have.
Jen is also a Registered Counselling Therapist – Candidate with a Master’s degree in Art Therapy, offering a compassionate, person-centered and trauma-informed approach to healing at Inverness Chiropractic and Health Collective.
Jen believes that each person is the expert of their own experience, and she creates a safe, supportive space where clients can explore emotions, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with themselves at their own pace.
Through art therapy, clients are invited to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words, using creative processes as a gentle pathway toward insight, resilience, and growth.
Jen’s trauma-informed practice prioritizes safety, choice, and collaboration, empowering clients to build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move toward greater wellbeing.
