#Jenn Marchant
Jenn graduated from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2012.
Following graduation she was hired to work along side the diverse and talented team of practitioners at Squamish Integrated Health until 2020. While at S.I.H Jenn developed a deep tissue approach rooted in evidence based practice, which has awarded her Squamish Chief Reader’s Choice RMT of the year for 2020 through to 2023.
During your treatment with Jenn, you can except deeper work, incorporating specific and sustained compression, joint mobilization involving traction and compression of joints and a practical and science-based approach to treatment.
Jenn does not pointedly provide energy work or crainosacral therapies during her treatments, but does consider all manual therapy approaches to provide psychological benefits, such as the reduction of stress and anxiety.
In the Spring of 2021, Jenn opened **Anchor Health and Wellness**. A beautiful clinic located within the heart of downtown Squamish.
Jenn’s therapeutic approach includes:
- Massage to reduce stress, depression and anxiety
- Deep tissue work
- Ischemic compressions (trigger point therapy)
- Sports massage
- Orthopaedic massage
- Prenatal | postnatal massage
- General massage for relaxation
Continuing Education includes:
- Treatment of post-surgical adhesions
- Massage for mental health
- In-lab exploratory pro-sections
- Pregnancy massage
- Clinical applications of pain science
Jenn is driven by the need to understand what and why she is providing manual therapeutic intervention. She is committed to learning a current and relative approach to manual therapy that is science-respecting, outcome transparent and ethical for her patients.
