Jennifer Boggett has been working as an Occupational Therapist/Psychotherapist in the Ottawa area for 23 years. After earning her degree in Occupational Therapy at McGill University she started working in the school system and then moved to an Outpatient Mental Health setting and has been there for 19 years. She also consults with an educational and mental health program with the Ottawa school board.
She is a certified trainer in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach, has extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and brain and body based regulation tools. Her approach blends together her compassion, her training, her curiosity, and her belief that people's values, interests and internal resources are integral parts of the healing process. She uses an individualized and holistic approach to help people live the life they want to.
She is enthusiastic about the belief that people do well if they can. She enjoys working with families, adults and youth to optimize their mental and emotional health.
