Jennifer graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2001 and has 20 years of clinical experience. She learned Craniosacral Therapy techniques which promote deep relaxation and body alignment. While Jennifer is comfortable using deep pressure, she has learned to combine lighter pressures with deep to discover a client’s preferences and best response.
Jennifer’s desire to get to the root of a problem led her to study visceral techniques, as sometimes organs can impact the musculoskeletal system. She also has continuing education in treating pelvic pain.
She has worked alongside a progressive dentist, where Jennifer enabled the best position of the patients’ cranial bones for a pain-free outcome from their dental work. She gained much experience with the jaw and knowledge of how it impacts alignment throughout the body.
Outside of massage, Jennifer is passionate about food and its ability to promote or drain our health and quality of life. This passion led to her graduating as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist in 2016. She enjoys Pilates, walking the downtown waterfront, reading and connecting with friends and family.
